My parents and Eric visited and played tons of games!

My parents and my brother Eric visited a few weeks ago. Here's some of the games we played:

Eric, Mom, and I played the Shipwreck Arcana, a logic cooperate card game.

Eric and I played two games of Scythe, with expansions.

We all played several games of Gugong. And my mom bought Heather and I a copy. (Thanks mom!)

We all played two games of Chief Judge of Zarahemla, and I got some good feedback. And from what I understood, I think my family really liked it. I hope they did, because that's the next game I'm going to submit for publication. After I make a few visual improvements on it.

My mom, Eric, and I played our first game of Ex Libris, and we all really liked it. I think it's out of print right now though, so it's really hard to get. I got my copy from OfferUp. I think, or maybe it was from a Facebook Buy Sell group.

I got a really discounted Sagrada game (only $15!) and that one was simple and fun.

Played Meow Meow Mia, where Eric had infiltrated the mob and signaled to me (the cop) where the gangsters hid the contraband.

We also played a few games (because the games were super quick) of Crossfire, where the assassin is trying to shoot the VIP and I made the mistake of telling everyone I was the VIP. Oops.

Played a game of Viticulture, because Viticulture is an awesome game.

Played Quacks of Quedlinburg (or just Quacks, as we call it). Poor mom's pot kept exploding when there was a super slim chance of it doing so. Again and again. And again.

Played Azul: Stained glass. One time there was, like, eight glass pieces of one color in the middle and mom was forced to pick them up and got a bunch of broken glass.

Played Century: Golem edition. My parents liked it so much they bought their own copy.

Eric and I played the physical copy of Lost Ruins of Arnak that Ryan got me for Christmas. It was my first time playing the physical copy (I played a bunch on Board Game Arena).

Played a couple games of Kingsburg. We joked that it was a really simple easy game to understand and play, and that's why Alex didn't like it--because it wasn't complex enough. Ha ha.

I never did get a chance to play Quixx.

That's all I can remember right now. I should have written this blog post weeks ago. Oh well. I've been working at Edible Arrangements for the summer.

Joy shaving grandpa's face.

Heather and grandma playing a duet.

Chief Judge of Zarahemla!

My family seemed to really like it. (Enough to play a second time.)

Joy and Henry gang up to tickle Uncle Eric.

I got some new free shirts from my summer job.
