It's Heather's birthday!

And here's a picture of Joy chasing a chick.

And here's some pictures of my classroom for this year.

And the first day of school is tomorrow.

In which I ponder my individual existence

I wonder how many people think the same way I do. I wonder why I think the way I think. What is an intelligence? How does this short mortality and what I do in it more important than what I've made myself throughout eternity? What is the purpose of diversity? I believe that God made diversity on purpose, that we need to be different. How can everyone in the Celestial Kingdom be perfect and yet still different? How does that even work? How can we not judge? How can we tell truth outside our own personal perspective?

We moved! Can you say Antlantis?

Well, we've officially moved. We started packing things up over a month ago. I picked up a Uhaul rental truck on the 3rd and started moving boxes into it. I thought I'd be the only one, because for 30 minutes no one else came to help. But then, thankfully, people from the ward started trickling in to help.

We loaded up the whole truck and then drove it 15 minutes to our new place, a house we're renting. We unloaded everything into our new house that same night (slash morning of the 4th as it went past midnight). Once again, members of our ward helped us out by unpacking.

On the 4th we rested and celebrated the 4th of July. On the 5th we unpacked a lot, and later in the afternoon we deep cleaned our old place. On the 6th our lease was up and we turned in our keys.

At our new place we're still unpacking.
